VIP Tires & Service in Brookline, MA, is seeking a Service Writer to assist the Service Manager in delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will consult with customers about vehicle conditions after MPI inspections, educate them on recommended service, and help prioritize and schedule work for technicians.

You will be responsible for learning VIP processes, completing LMS and vendor trainings, and obtaining ASE and TPMS certifications as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifikationen

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• Equipment Safety Certification.
• ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required.
• ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended.
• ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended.
• State Inspection License Required (where applicable)

Aufgaben

• Consult with customers, build relationships, and educate them about vehicle condition based on MPI results.
• Achieve higher customer engagement as measured by SAX score.
• Learn VIP processes and execute duties to deliver a better customer experience.
• Complete LMS training and vendor training; obtain certifications (BATS, TPMS, ASE).
• Assist in dispatching work orders to technicians using first-available guidance.
• Maintain facility and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for daily operations.
• Enforce service code of ethics and comply with municipal, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate with management to ensure compliance with service standards and policies.
