Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Service Writer who will act as a key liaison between customers and the service team.

You will explain vehicle conditions identified by MPI inspections, educate customers on recommended maintenance, and help drive VIP standards for an exceptional service experience. The role requires completing training programs, pursuing ASE certifications, and coordinating with technicians to ensure accurate work orders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with policies; report unsafe conditions.
• Consult with customers, educate them on vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Aim for above-average customer engagement per VIP SAX score.
• Learn and execute duties assigned by Service Manager to deliver a better customer experience.
• Complete LMS training and relevant vendor trainings; achieve ASE and other certifications; coordinate with team; manage work orders and dispatch.
