Destination Pet is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Santa Monica to welcome pet parents and their VIPs, manage phones, tours, and service sales, and ensure safety with up-to-date vaccinations on file. The role requires standing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced pet-care environment.

You will handle check-ins/check-outs, cash handling, and guest relations while maintaining a clean, welcoming lobby. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Excellent communication across phone, in-person, and email channels.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their VIPs, providing friendly, attentive service.
• Answer phones with a smile and multi-task efficiently.
• Tour potential clients through the facility and upsell services.
• Maintain up-to-date vaccinations on file for safety.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs with care and accuracy.
• Handle cash, cards, and end-of-day cash drawer balancing.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to enclosures with care and reassurance.
• Keep the lobby clean and welcoming for first impressions.
• Collaborate with team members as needed.
