Job summary

Destination Pet in Culver City is hiring a Customer Service Representative to welcome pet parents and their furry friends. You’ll manage phones, tours, and payments while promoting our grooming, boarding, and veterinary services.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service, great communication, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• You’ve got strong people skills and can talk to clients in person, on the phone, and via email.
• You love both pets and people and stay professional under pressure.
• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet pet parents and their pets at the front desk with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Answer phones and multi-task while delivering excellent service.
• Show clients the facility and explain services to keep tails wagging.
• Verify vaccination records are up to date for safety.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs and handle the cash drawer accurately.
• Address complaints with patience and professionalism and resolve issues.
• Escort pets to and from enclosures with care, like a concierge.
• Keep the lobby clean and welcoming, ready for first impressions.
