Highgate Hotels in Columbus, OH is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to support the Guest Services Manager with attentive, courteous service before arrival and during stay, while maximizing room revenue.

You will manage reservations, VIP requests, front desk operations, and communications across departments, ensuring standard adherence, training new hires, and maintaining schedule discipline.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of progressive hotel experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexible hours, long shifts sometimes required.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guest Services Manager and ensure courteous service.
• Handle reservations and rate quoting with VIP requests.
• Operate Front Desk computer system and maintain logs.
• Process messages, packages, and mail promptly and professionally.
• Maximize room revenue through effective merchandising and upsell.
• Maintain communications with all departments and team members.
• Oversee check-in/out and ensure shift checklist completion.
• Train new hires and cross-train staff as needed.
