Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to support VIP service processes and deliver exceptional customer experiences at our Littleton location. The role combines counter-based service writer duties with hands-on shop technician responsibilities, following VIP standards and safety policies.

The ideal candidate will possess automotive service knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn and execute multiple roles, including certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid understanding of automotive servicing industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority and follow policy.
• Serve customers at the counter as service writer; educate on vehicle conditions.
• Perform shop technician duties and complete services per VIP standards.
• Complete required training and certifications for Service Writer and Installation Technician.
• Aim for higher customer engagement and productivity as measured by VIP metrics.
• Learn VIP processes and execute duties; attend LMS and vendor trainings.
• Maintain facility and equipment, ensure clean service department.
• Ensure procedural compliance with codes and procedures.
• Communicate with management to ensure service standards and policies.
• Support the Service Manager in achieving performance targets.
