Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to champion VIP customer experiences at a service location. The role combines counter service, shop technician duties, and ongoing training to uphold VIP standards and safety policies.

The Tech-Advisor will build relationships with customers, execute service orders, and participate in ongoing certification programs such as ASE and BATS to support high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organization and time management with result orientation.
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as priority and follow safety training.
• Assist customers at the counter or as service writer; educate on vehicle condition per MPI inspection.
• Perform service technician duties when needed and complete required services per VIP standards.
• Obtain LMS training and vendor certifications (including BATS, TPMS, ASE).
• Support team performance and customer engagement; achieve billed hours targets.
• Follow VIP processes to deliver a different and better customer experience.
• Maintain facility and equipment; ensure cleanliness and report issues.
• Enforce compliance with service ethics, regulations, and policies.
• Communicate with management to ensure policy and standard adherence.
