Job summary

The VIP team is seeking a Service Writer in a Maine location to support the Service Manager by delivering an exceptional customer experience and coordinating vehicle needs. You will engage customers, communicate service findings, and help the store meet VIP program standards.

As a Service Writer, you will participate in LMS and vendor trainings, pursue required certifications, and work closely with the service team to maintain safety and efficiency throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended or equivalent experience.
• ASE Certifications C1, P2, G1 or State Inspection License are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to explain the condition of their vehicle based on MPI inspection.
• Educate customers about VIP processes to deliver a different and better experience.
• Help the team achieve VIP SAX scores and high customer engagement.
• Learn and execute duties assigned by the Service Manager to improve customer service.
• Complete LMS and vendor trainings; become certified as required and communicate effectively with the team.
