Job summary

VIP is seeking a Service Writer in Augusta, ME to join our automotive team. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by consulting with customers, explaining vehicle conditions, and guiding service through the VIP process.

You will work with the Service Manager, participate in LMS and vendor training, and pursue ASE certifications while ensuring safety and smooth daily operations at the service desk.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by consulting with them, building relationships, and educating them about vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Aim for above-average engagement as measured by SAX scores.
• Learn VIP processes and execute essential duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Complete LMS training and relevant vendor training; pursue ASE certifications.
