Job summary

VIP is seeking a Service Writer to join our automotive service team in Lewiston, ME. You will educate customers on vehicle conditions after MPI inspections and work closely with the Service Manager to deliver VIP standards and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include training participation (LMS/vendor), pursuing ASE certifications, ensuring safety, and maintaining clear communication with the team during daily operations to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers, educate them on vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Build relationships with customers and follow VIP processes to enhance experience.
• Achieve strong SAX scores in customer engagement.
• Execute tasks assigned by the Service Manager to support VIP standards.
• Take LMS training, vendor training, and pursue C1/BATS/TPMS/ASE certifications.
• Maintain safe work environment and assist with facility/equipment upkeep.
