Job summary

The Tech-Advisor at Colonial Group supports VIP’s mission by delivering an exceptional customer experience and coordinating with the Service Manager. You may work at the counter as a service writer or in the shop as a technician, performing duties to heighten customer satisfaction and drive productive billed hours.

Requires knowledge of automotive servicing, strong communication skills, and OSHA/VIP training; standard 40-hour work week with potential for certification growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• One year related experience in automotive service.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter, educate on vehicle condition per MPI inspection.
• Work as technician when needed, complete services per VIP standards.
• Maintain safety and shop cleanliness per VIP procedures.
• Complete LMS training and vendor courses.
