Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Tech-Advisor to deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting service writers and technicians. This role emphasizes safety, communication, and teamwork as customers’ vehicles are inspected and serviced per VIP standards.

You will learn VIP processes, complete required LMS and ASE certifications, and participate in daily huddles and store meetings to drive higher customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety and follow safety policies.
• Serve customers at the counter as service writer when needed.
• Work in the shop as technician and complete services per VIP standards.
• Complete required training and certifications for Service Writer and Installation Technician.
• Achieve above-average customer engagement and billed hours.
• Learn VIP processes to deliver a better customer experience.
• Maintain facility and equipment per standards and policies.
• Ensure compliance with codes and corporate procedures.
• Communicate with management to ensure policy compliance and support.
