Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Specialist to manage the setup, operation, and breakdown of mid-level production events in a hospitality setting, ensuring top-tier client satisfaction from prep through wrap. You will report to a Project Management leader in your area and coordinate with hotel staff to deliver flawless AV experiences.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supervising on-site technicians, maintaining equipment, and mentoring junior teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in audio, lighting, projection, or video.
• 3–4 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet all training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Strong professional interaction with diverse teams and senior management.
• Valid driver’s license; DOT requirements may apply; may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown advanced A/V equipment for mid-level events.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems quickly during events.
• Maintain security and safety of equipment.
• Provide excellent service and foster client relationships.
• Mentor and coach teammates to develop technical skills.
• Supervise technicians during events.
• Assist with inventory, storage, and maintenance of equipment.
