Job summary

Encore Global seeks a Technical Specialist to manage mid-level production events, ensuring top-tier client satisfaction and smooth operations in a hospitality setting. You will lead equipment setup, operation, and debriefs with the events team.

You will troubleshoot issues, train junior staff, and maintain strong relationships with hotel teams and clients, while staying current with industry trends and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video is required.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Internal applicants must meet training requirements per Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Must be able to interact professionally with diverse workforce and management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license where applicable; DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced audiovisual equipment and ensure flawless event setup, operation, and breakdown.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and maintain security of equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships pre- and post-event.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and stay current with industry trends.
• Supervise technicians during events and assist with equipment maintenance and inventory.
