ABB invites you to join our drive and control solutions team in a hybrid work model. As a VFD Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to ABB customers, end users, sales channels, and product teams around VFDs, 3-phase power, and system connectivity.

You will collaborate with engineering, field service, and warranty teams, document solutions, and stay current with industry trends. A strong background in electrical principles and drive technology is essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and drives.
• Clear English communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD-related issues.
• Assist with drive programming, parameter configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales and product teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations for repairs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cases using Salesforce Case Management and other tools.
• Stay current with VFD technologies, software updates and industry trends.
