ABB Inc. is seeking a VFD Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to customers, field techs, and internal teams. You will handle drive programming, troubleshooting, and integration with control systems, working closely with engineering and product teams.

The role supports hybrid work arrangements in the United States, with duties including detailed case documentation and ongoing learning about VFD technologies and updates.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work (REQUIRED).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical concepts and drive systems.
• Strong English verbal/written communication; able to interact with customers.
• Must have work authorization to work in the US.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid/remote US role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD applications and related issues.
• Assist customers with drive programming, configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve complex issues.
• Coordinate with warranty team to process replacements and warranty labor approvals.
• Maintain detailed support cases and solutions in Salesforce Case Management.
• Stay current with VFD technologies and software updates.
