Job summary

Mars Incorporated (Royal Canin) in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for a field-based role. You must reside within the territory and be prepared for 20-30% travel, including weekends for conferences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics in the geography.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers across the territory.
Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations for veterinary staff.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet objective and balance stakeholder needs.
Manage expenses and CRM reports, and run quarterly business reviews to optimize territory performance.
