Job summary

Mars seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager – Royal Canin to lead sales in the Salt Lake City area and surrounding clinics. You will drive territory growth by translating clinic data into business opportunities and building strong relationships with clinic decision-makers.

Expect 20–30% travel, field-based work, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute the veterinary sales strategy. A driver’s license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers in the territory.
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with BU and cross-functional teams to meet stakeholders’ objectives.
• Build partnerships and work with others to meet shared goals.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy and adapt plans as needed.
• Manage budget and CRM reporting with accuracy.
