Job summary

Mars Incorporated (Royal Canin) seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager for Denver West, CO, covering nearby mountain regions. This field-based role requires living in the territory and travel 20–30%+. You will execute the Vet BU strategy, grow clinic relationships, and deliver data-driven presentations to drive territory performance.

You will manage a budget, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build partnerships with clinic decision-makers to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs and grow clinics within geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across BU and organization with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives and execute BU sales strategy.
• Work cross-functionally in a fluid, dynamic environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies to maximize territory.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM and reports timely.
