Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Frederick, MD is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for Royal Canin to drive the Vet BU strategy and achieve KPIs by expanding clinic access in the assigned territory.

This field-based role requires 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), veterinary clinic exposure, excellent communication and presentation skills, a valid driver's license, and 20–30% travel with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate across BU & organization to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team and adapt to changes.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and complete reports and presentations promptly.
