Job summary

Royal Canin seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager to lead field-based sales across the Salt Lake City region. The role drives clinic opportunities, builds relationships with decision-makers, and grows product adoption through data-driven presentations and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, has 2+ years of sales experience (preferably B2B), and is willing to travel 20-30% with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams in fluid, changing environments
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance
• Manage expense and sales budgets; complete CRM and expense reports on time
