Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Salt Lake City area. This field-based role is responsible for executing the Vet BU strategy, driving clinic opportunities, and achieving sales KPIs by leveraging data and cross-functional collaboration.

You must reside within the territory. You will develop territory business plans, establish relationships with clinic decision-makers, deliver data-driven presentations, and manage an expense and sales budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within territory.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within territory.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Build strong working relationships across BU & organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate with others to meet shared objectives and execute BU sales strategy.
• Operate in cross-functional team environments and adapt to changes in territory and strategy.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies based on territory performance.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM, expense reports, and presentations timely.
