Job summary

Royal Canin is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. You will execute territory plans, identify clinic opportunities, and deliver sales results while working cross-functionally with teams to increase clinic access and veterinarian recommendations.

This field-based role requires 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel about 20–30% with occasional weekends for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30%+

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address the needs of veterinary staff.
• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across the BU and organization.
• Collaborate with others to meet shared objectives and execute the sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment and adapt to changing environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM and expense reports timely.
