Job summary

Small Door Veterinary seeks a Veterinarian Recruiter to partner with clinics and the veterinary community across markets. You will own full-cycle recruitment for veterinarians, develop outreach plans, and track candidate movement to support rapid growth while preserving quality and culture.

You'll travel to priority markets, build referral networks, and collaborate with Regional Directors and Medical Directors to forecast hiring needs and refine sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years full-cycle recruiting experience, veterinary roles preferred.
• Experience recruiting passive clinical talent and keeping candidates engaged.
• Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology (animal or human).
• Willing to travel and build trust in person with clinics and communities.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hiring process for veterinarians and related roles.
• Build pipelines and referral networks to sustain candidate flow.
• Travel to clinics and priority markets to meet candidates and learn local talent.
• Coordinate on-site interviews with clinic leaders and ensure warm welcomes.
• Partner with field leaders to forecast needs and define role requirements.
