Job summary

Small Door Veterinary is seeking a Veterinarian Recruiter to own the full-cycle hiring for veterinarians across markets. You will travel to clinics, build relationships with the vet community, and plan for new practice openings.

You will manage candidate communications from outreach to offer letters, and help establish talent benchmarks to support growth. You’ll partner with field leaders and medical directors, use data to track pipeline health, and refine outreach strategies to meet business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Proven success recruiting veterinary roles (5+ years preferred).
• Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).
• Solid understanding of medical terminology (animal or human).
• Relationship-driven, resourceful, and willing to travel and build trust in person.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for veterinarians and veterinary roles in assigned markets.
• Travel to clinics and priority markets to meet candidates and grow referral networks.
• Plan for new practice openings by setting talent benchmarks and outreach plans.
• Maintain up‑to‑date candidate records and pipeline health in the ATS.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors of Operations, Medical Directors, and Practice Managers.
