Job summary

Small Door Veterinary is seeking a Veterinarian Recruiter to partner with clinics across markets and lead the full cycle for veterinary hiring. You will build relationships with veterinarians and the broader vet community, plan for new openings, and maintain a robust pipeline while ensuring brand-aligned candidate experiences.

You will travel to clinics, manage candidate communication from outreach to offer, and collaborate with medical leadership to forecast needs and improve sourcing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record recruiting veterinary roles (5+ years preferred)
• Proven success recruiting scarce, passive clinical talent and keeping candidates engaged over long timelines
• Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities

• Be the main recruiting partner for veterinarians in assigned markets; travel to clinics and priority markets to meet candidates
• Own the full hiring process for veterinarians; manage all candidate communication from outreach to offer letter
• Reach passive veterinarians through direct outreach, networking, job boards, and social media
• Coordinate on-site interviews and prepare clinic leaders ahead of time
• Keep a pipeline that's active and relationships strong with veterinary schools and communities
• Forecast needs with field leaders to identify coverage gaps early
• Maintain accurate candidate records and provide market insights in real time
