Job summary

Small Door Veterinary is seeking a Veterinarian Recruiter to grow our combined network across markets. You will partner with clinics, plan outreach, and own the full hiring process for veterinarians, while traveling to priority markets to build lasting relationships with veterinary professionals.

You will engage with veterinary schools and industry groups, use data to forecast needs, and help refine hiring practices to maintain quality and culture across our clinics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record recruiting veterinary roles (5+ years preferred)
• Proven success recruiting scarce, passive clinical talent and keeping candidates engaged over long timelines
• Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.)
• Solid understanding of medical terminology (animal or human)
• Relationship-driven, resourceful, self-directed, and excited to travel and build trust in person
• Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities

• Be the main recruiting partner for veterinarians in your markets.
• Own the full hiring process for veterinarians.
• Travel to clinics and priority markets to meet candidates, learn about local talent, and grow referral networks.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and ensure clinic leaders are prepared ahead of time.
• Keep a pipeline that's always on; engage the veterinary community and build relationships with schools and associations.
