Mission Pet Health is hiring a Receptionist who will be the face of the practice, handling a multi-line phone system, greeting clients warmly, and coordinating appointments with a focus on compassionate care.

You will maintain medical records, assist with financial transactions, and educate clients on preventive care to support pet wellness. This role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and flexibility with some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; a flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care in every interaction.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients, showing empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.
