Mission Pet Health is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact, greeting clients warmly and managing a multi-line phone system while upholding our compassionate care standards.

You will coordinate care by maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling financial transactions, ensuring smooth hospital operations. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills with a flexible schedule including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for excellent customer service and love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills under stress with good judgement.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently when needed.
• Experience with veterinary software; flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure the best care for every pet.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence and treat each pet like your own.
