Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the face of our practice, greeting clients and coordinating appointments. You’ll manage a multi-line phone system, assist with records, and handle payments in a compassionate environment.

Ideal candidates bring a love for animals, strong communication, and solid organizational skills. Some weekend and holiday shifts are required to support our patients and clients across our network.

Qualifications

• Passion for outstanding customer service and love for animals.
• Strong communication and ability to handle stressful situations with good judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with ability to work independently when needed.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; some weekends/holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients with a positive attitude.
• Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Educate clients on preventive care and hospital services to support pet health.
• Provide a calm, empathetic presence for clients and treat each pet with care.
