Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Business Development for Veterinary to own large multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on strategic veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices.

You will close high-value enterprise accounts, guided by our inbound leads and a sales development team, with an annual quota of $2M across selected multi-location clients.

Qualifications

• Track record of closing large multi-location deals
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers
• Long consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers
• Prefer to close business over people management

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months)
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders
• Expand coverage to additional locations and services after signing
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership on proposals for key deals
