Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Director for Veterinary to own large, multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on high-stakes, multi-location veterinary groups and a strict 2M USD annual quota.

You will close strategically with owners and regional leaders, guided by our inbound and SDR-assisted pipeline. The role emphasizes a long, consultative sales process and expansion across locations once a deal is signed.

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• You would rather close business than manage people. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3 to 12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at multi-location veterinary groups.
• Expand after signing: add locations and services for continued growth.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build proposals for key deals.
