Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Business Development for Veterinary to own multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual-contributor role focused on large veterinary groups where one win opens the next, with a $2M annual quota across selected accounts.

You will close deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders, guided by our inbound and SDR-led pipeline, and expand services as groups sign on more locations.

Qualifications

• Proven record closing $1M+ annually on multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Prefer closing over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for large deals from discovery to close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.
• Expand accounts by signing additional locations and services.
• Collaborate with strategists for compelling proposals and negotiations.
