Job summary

Fox & Friends Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary CSR to deliver exceptional client service while supporting daily hospital operations. You will greet clients and pets, handle phones and appointments, process payments, and help coordinate care with veterinarians and technicians.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and a positive, empathetic attitude. Previous veterinary or front-desk experience is preferred; you should be comfortable discussing

• Experience in veterinary, medical, customer service, or reception roles.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Able to manage multiple phone lines and a busy front desk.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Comfortable discussing estimates, payments, and financial responsibilities with clients.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
• Answer phones, respond to client questions, and schedule appointments
• Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately
• Process payments, prepare invoices, and collect balances
• Communicate appointment information, estimates, and hospital policies to clients
• Assist with prescription and food requests
• Communicate with clients regarding appointment reminders, follow-ups, and other hospital needs
• Maintain accurate client and patient information in the practice management system
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and other team members
• Assist with medical records and other administrative tasks as needed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming reception area
• Handle challenging client situations with patience, professionalism, and empathy
• Protect client confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures
• Support the entire hospital team and jump in where needed
• Provide a positive experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors
