Job summary

Uxbridge Animal Hospital in Uxbridge, MA is seeking a friendly Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our AAHA-accredited team. This part-time role focuses on front desk duties, client communication, and a positive first impression as clients arrive or call.

You’ll handle check-in/check-out, appointments, payments, and basic admin, with rotating Saturday shifts. Previous CSR experience preferred; veterinary exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Veterinary or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers and veterinary practice management software.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working a rotating Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and assisting with check-in and check-out.
• Answering incoming phone calls and responding to client questions.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Updating client and patient information.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Communicating client needs and messages to the veterinary team.
• Assisting with prescription and food pickup.
• Responding to emails and completing general administrative tasks.
