Job summary

The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medical Center, is hiring a Veterinary Customer Service Representative 2 to support the Small Animal Reception. You will greet clients, manage appointments, and handle inquiries while maintaining accurate hospital admissions in the computer system.

This full-time, first-shift role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience (2-4 years preferred).

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responding to routine, complex and medical emergency situations in professional manner.
• Answering and directing internal and external calls appropriately.
• Creating accurate day-to-day admitting information through hospital computer system.
• Resolving routine problems and complex situations using appropriate medical terminology, office practices and procedures, and established customer service principles.
• Maintaining safe and accurate money handling practices and abiding by all university privacy standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
