Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Business Development for Veterinary to own the largest multi-location deals, from first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. This is an individual contributor seat focused on strategic veterinary accounts.

As an owner of the deals, you close high-value groups across locations, with meetings set by our sales development team. You will work directly with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders to expand to more locations and services

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Ability to manage long, consultative sale cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Prefers closing over people management.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
