Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant to build strong relationships with veterinary customers and sell IDEXX’s medical device diagnostics portfolio. You will engage customers through knowledgeable interactions, business discussions and education, translating needs into diagnostic solutions that leverage IDEXX products and services.

In this role you will manage your territory independently, collaborate with regional colleagues, educate clinic staff, and advocate IDEXX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales experience.
• Territory management experience in veterinary/animal health or medical device sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own outside sales territory and customer base to increase recurring diagnostic revenue.
• Collaborate and co-sell with other IDEXX sales professionals to close capital equipment and technology.
• Educate veterinary clinic staff about IDEXX products and services; maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to IDEXX marketing and management.
• Represent IDEXX values professionally and attend regional trade shows and events.
• Manage expenses and resources in line with company guidelines.
