Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant to build relationships with veterinary customers and drive the diagnostics portfolio. You will translate customer needs into IDEXX solutions, educate staff, and participate in regional co-selling with peers to close capital equipment deals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in outside sales with veterinary or medical device experience, are comfortable in clinics, and can travel as needed with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales territory management experience.
• Experience in veterinary/animal health, human healthcare or medical device sales.
• Willingness to travel extensively, lift up to 60 pounds, and hold a valid driver's license.
• Comfortable entering veterinary clinics and hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Grow recurring diagnostic revenue and equipment sales within your territory.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues to close capital equipment deals.
• Educate and train veterinary clinic staff on IDEXX products and services.
• Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to marketing and leadership.
• Represent IDEXX values and attend trade shows and educational events.
• Manage expenses and resources in line with company guidelines.
