Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) to drive growth across a defined Texas territory. You will build strong relationships with veterinary practices, educate staff on IDEXX diagnostics, and translate client needs into solutions from IDEXX’s portfolio.

You will independently manage your territory, collaborate with peers to close equipment deals, and participate in regional trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales territory management experience.
• Experience in veterinary/animal health, human healthcare or medical device sales is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative sales environment.
• Must be able to travel extensively, lift up to 60 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a field sales territory to increase recurring diagnostic revenue.
• Educate and train veterinary staff on IDEXX products and services.
• Co-sell with regional IDEXX sales professionals to close capital equipment deals.
• Attend trade shows and regional events to generate leads and opportunities.
• Manage expenses and resources in line with company guidelines.
