Job summary

IDEXX seeks a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant to build relationships with veterinary customers and sell our diagnostic portfolio. You will independently manage a territory, educate staff, and co-sell with regional teams to grow diagnostic revenue and capital equipment sales.

You must have a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of outside sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel extensively and lift up to 60 pounds. A South Bend relocation is expected if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales experience managing a territory.
• Territory management experience in veterinary/animal health or medical device sales.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively, lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage your territory independently to increase recurring diagnostic revenue and achieve quarterly equipment sales.
• Collaborate with IDEXX sales professionals regionally to close capital equipment and technology.
• Educate veterinary clinic staff about products, services and marketing initiatives.
• Relay customer needs and competitive issues to IDEXX marketing and management.
• Represent IDEXX values professionally and participate in trade shows and events.
• Manage expenses and resources per company guidelines and directives.
• Support IDEXX purpose and guiding principles; perform other duties as assigned.
