Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) to build strong relationships with veterinary customers and grow IDEXX’s diagnostic portfolio. You will engage customers through consultative selling, educate clinics, and collaborate with regional teams to close capital equipment deals, while managing travel and territory performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of proven outside sales territory management experience.
• Experience in veterinary/animal health or medical device sales is a plus.
• Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative sales environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends for tradeshows or events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a veterinary diagnostic territory with recurring revenue goals.
• Collaborate with region teammates to close capital equipment and technology deals.
• Educate clinic staff on IDEXX products, services and marketing initiatives.
• Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to marketing and management.
• Attend trade shows and educational events to represent IDEXX and its values.
