Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc is seeking a Field Sales Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) to build strong relationships with veterinary customers and grow our diagnostic portfolio. You will independently manage your territory, drive recurring revenue, and educate clinic staff about IDEXX products and services.

You will co-sell with regional IDEXX teams, communicate customer needs to marketing and product groups, attend trade shows, and model IDEXX values while managing expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years outside sales territory experience.
• Experience in veterinary/animal health or medical device sales preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage your territory and customer base to increase recurring diagnostic revenue.
• Collaborate and co-sell with IDEXX sales professionals in the region to close capital equipment and technology.
• Educate and train veterinary clinic staff about IDEXX products and services.
• Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to marketing and business unit managers.
• Present IDEXX values professionally and understand industry and veterinary practice context.
• Attend trade shows and other educational events in the region.
• Manage IDEXX expenses and resources in line with company guidelines.
• Adhere to IDEXX purpose and guiding principles.
• Other duties as assigned.
