Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets, maximize the veterinary team's productivity, and ensure clear communication with clients and associates. The role emphasizes welcoming, educating, and guiding families in preventive care and wellness services.

Ideal candidates will have strong client service skills, multitasking ability, and comfort with medical terminology. Weekend/evening hours may be required in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year of related experience with customer service preferred.
• Medical terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive patient/pet flow through the hospital to maximize team productivity.
• Provide friendly, informative service and educate clients on pet health.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and preventive care.
• Assist with documentation, pet records, and scheduling.
• Dispense prescriptions per veterinarian's instructions and manage invoices.
• Support opening/closing procedures and basic administrative duties.
• Engage with clients to encourage hospital visits and referrals.
• Ensure a clean, welcoming, and organized hospital environment.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain high-quality care.
• Handle outgoing instructions and follow-up communications with clients.
