Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets, maximize the veterinary team's productivity, and ensure clear communication in a welcoming hospital environment. You will educate clients on wellness plans, assist with documentation and scheduling, and help with invoices and retail items.

The role requires strong English communication, multi-tasking, and a customer-service mindset to support high-quality pet care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and customer-service experience preferred.
• Experience working in a healthcare or veterinary setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing flow to ensure patient care and productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining an efficient hospital workflow.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, welcoming clients and pets and educating them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, enter pet history, and ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescription dispensing, retail sales and scheduling.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
