Banfield Pet Hospital in the United States is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, maximize team productivity, and deliver welcoming, efficient service. You will educate clients on wellness plans and hospital services while handling intake, documentation and scheduling.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and high-quality customer service in a veterinary setting. Weekend/evening hours are required as part of special working conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support the needs of wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets and educating them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing documentation and entering pet information in the computer; ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening/closing procedures.
