Banfield Pet Hospital in the United States is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure friendly, efficient service. You will welcome clients, document patient history, and promote preventive care services.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and a proactive mindset; you should be able to work evenings/weekends as needed and maintain high professional standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography.
• One year of related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital and maximize productivity.
• Promote hospital services and route clients and pets to ensure superior client care.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, enter pet information and history, and ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling future appointments.
• Maintain accurate balances and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other job duties as assigned.
