Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow through the hospital, maximize productivity of the veterinary team, and ensure excellent communication with clients and staff.

The role involves welcoming clients, educating them about pet health and Optimum Wellness Plans, completing documentation, and assisting with invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of customer-service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography (x-ray) duties.
• One year related customer-service experience required.
• Medical background (vet tech, human healthcare, pharmaceutical) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing clients and pets for care.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient operations.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Assist incoming clients by completing documentation and entering pet information/history.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, and prescriptions and scheduling future visits.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
