Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to front-house for the practice, greeting clients and guiding their pets to exam rooms. You will schedule, confirm appointments, handle payments, and explain fees with a focus on excellent client service.

The CSR will also educate clients on basic pet care, assist with medical records, and help maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Qualifications

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance and cleanliness responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-desk support and greet clients and pets warmly.
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations with accuracy.
• Make outbound calls for follow-ups and client outreach.
• Explain service fees and process payments professionally.
• Recommend and explain products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answer questions about products/services and basic pet care guidance.
