Job summary

VCA White Lake Animal Hospital in White Lake, MI is seeking a friendly Veterinary Client Service Representative to greet clients and pets, manage check-in/out, and keep the reception area organized.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, present estimates, collect payments, and coordinate with doctors and technicians for smooth visits. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required; veterinary or hospitality backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer-facing experience in veterinary, medical, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with computers and practice software.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients and pets, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a welcoming reception area.
• Answer multi-line phones promptly, schedule appointments, and coordinate doctor schedules.
• Guide clients on basic wellness care and vaccine protocols.
• Present treatment estimates, collect payments, and maintain accurate electronic charts.
• Collaborate with doctors and technicians to ensure smooth appointment flow.
